“Thanks to Todd and Kristine and all the folks there for filling my extreme order and rushing it off to my son in Prescott so he could bring it back to Switzerland. He received it in time but needed to mail it since he had no room in his suitcase. It was delivered today and everything is so beautiful and fun! Thank you for packing it so well and thank you Todd for finding the NoDays and all the sunflowers to include in the order. I cannot wait to start using it all. You all have brightened up a cold and rainy day! All the Best” Barbara B., Showroom Customer

“I have worked with many materials, but skinny tiles are my favorite. They are easy to shape, the colors are beautiful and they help my imagination run free… they are custom-made in a range of colors from brights to neutrals. The clay body is flat and the glazes do not chip. The handmade tiles are consistent in depth and color, which matters when re-ordering. Santa Teresa Tile Works is not just another website, but a place you can e-mail, phone and speak to a friendly, knowledgeable artisan; skinny tiles are paid by the sheet, so you do not need to buy more than you need. This is a value if you want to buy multiple colors for variety and shading; lastly, I am an American mosaic artist and I am proud to use materials that are made in the USA.”  Valeria B., Professional Mosaic Artist – Skinny Tile

“It’s a pleasure to work with Santa Theresa Tile Works! Their willingness to listen and incorporate our ideas made it clear to me that we had partnered with the right people. The beautiful major donor mural and plaques that they created not only recognized our supporters but reflected the spirit of the YWCA perfectly. Our donors are proud to see their generosity acknowledged through the art created by Santa Theresa Tile Works and so are we. I wouldn’t even consider working with anyone else!” Janet M., YWCA Tucson – Donor Recognition

“Santa Theresa Tile Works has created unique pieces of art that recognize our donors beautifully and express the mission of our organization. Instead of leafing through a catalog, you’ll work with a designer who listens and responds to your needs.” Liz M., Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona, Inc. – Donor Recognition

“The experience inspired fellowship and teamwork without the pressure often associated with “team-building” exercises…” Kelly O., TMC Hospice – Corporate Events

“Santa Theresa is a one-of-a-kind Tucson icon. Their tiles are beautiful, unique, and affordable. And even better — they offer classes and workshops that allow you to create your own mosaic designs while benefiting from the expertise of their in-house clay tile artisans. Stop by their show room to check out their offerings, but if you have the opportunity – definitely take a class or workshop. They are so worth it.”  Kat M., Yelp – Showroom

“Every piece I’ve done with the tiles [skinny tiles] from Santa Theresa Tile Works has been extremely well received. I’m looking forward to SAMA ….”  Leigh A., Artist

“Santa Theresa Tile Works’ owner and artistic director, Susan Gamble, is in a class of her own! Council of Aging staff and board members are extremely proud of our collaboration, eight years and counting, on our PCOA Faces of Tucson project. The customer service and dedication we have received has been unparalleled. Our donors/patrons are overjoyed to see their acknowledgement of a special individual or family celebrated by a completely personalized statement in ceramic. The workmanship and design are beyond equal!” Adina W., Pima Council on Aging – Donor Recognition

“While checking out other tile stores in the 4th Ave. area, we found Santa Theresa Tile Works almost by accident. This great shop has the most amazing little hand cut tiles for custom mosaic projects. We were so taken by them that we spent at least an hour creating two 4″x 4″ mosaics, using a metal frame with a hook at the bottom, suitable for putting on the wall and hanging small objects from it. They have workshops too, which look like they’d be a lot of fun. This place is simply awesome. It’s a terrific concept, perfectly executed.”  Andy S. – Showroom

“The Ronald McDonald House has worked with Susan Gamble from Santa Theresa Tile Works on two major donor projects for our new House. Working with Susan and her company has been a delightful experience. Susan helped us tremendously with her creative talent in designing tiles that are not only fun but appealing and sensitive to our Donors. I look forward to working with Susan and Santa Theresa Tile Works on future projects.”  Diana S., Ronald McDonald House, Tucson – Donor Recognition

“I’ve been making tile at Santa Theresa for 4 years now and have learned so much in that time.  Not only are they generous in sharing their designs, techniques and expertise with us, the group of ladies who gather most every Wednesday evenings to work on their projects have become like family.” Collen S., Tile Making 2

“….along with the YWCA NCB, presented me with the mirror and it took my breath away. What a treasure – I am thrilled!  From the moment I saw your work, I wanted to have a piece of it to call my own and to enjoy. And, now I am doubly blessed, to have the mirror and my own tile. Thank you so much.  Each NCB member was equally touched and delighted to receive their own unique tile. It was the perfect memento to commemorate an historic event for all of us. Your work is now all over the U.S. to be enjoyed for years to come….Also, you may want to scream when I ask this: are you able to make a couple of more? ”  Gloria L., YWCA Tucson – Corporate Awards and Gifts

“I can’t begin to express the joy, creative fun, learning/sharing new techniques/styles and fabulous friendships I have made at Santa Theresa Tile Works.  Being a member of the Tile Making 2 (The Hive) is a Wednesday night love….seeing dear friends and watching everyone create such amazing tile pieces over the years, has truly been a pleasure and a treasure.  I can’t tell you how much I enjoy my pieces at home, thinking of what to tile next!! THANKS SANTA T.”  Lenore S., Tile Making 2

“I love your mosaic in the courtyard of the Environmental and Natural Resources Bldg. on the UA campus. I discovered it several years ago when I was taking the last “Science and Theology” class (in MCB) that Tom Lindell offered.  I have taken lots of people there to see it. They walk in having no idea what to expect and leave in a state of joy. Everyone I’ve taken there finds so much to relate to and to enjoy. Thank you for each and every thing you did to put that together…Thank you so much for doing that piece – it has brought a great deal of pleasure to me and to many of my friends and relatives. Nancy S., – Public Art

“In 2003, I visited Santa Theresa tile’s showroom before I even lived in Tucson.  Seeing the colorful mosaic plaques and tables, I knew that I wanted to learn how to do this.  I signed up immediately for the Tile 1 workshop and was learning how to cut and glaze tiles within 3 weeks of moving to Tucson in 2004.  Since that time, I have gotten to know the STTW creative team and now feel part of their extended family.  I love coming to the Wednesday evening Tile Workshop and have created tables, plaques and wall decorations of my own, based on their shared tile designs and advice. I feel so lucky to have this creative outlet and being part of the STTW creative community.”  Karen C., Tile Making 2
